Free vs paid

Kaasa has one free plan and four paid passes - each a one-time payment, not a subscription. A pass unlocks the full roadmap for a fixed length of time and never auto-renews:
- 6-Month Pass - $29 AUD
- 1-Year Pass - $45 AUD (includes partner invite)
- 2-Year Pass - $69 AUD (includes partner invite)
- 3-Year Pass - $89 AUD (includes partner invite)

- Your full roadmap setup - target price, deposit percentage, grants, buy date.
- The complete dashboard: deposit needed, savings gap, progress, and monthly target, always up to date.
- Updating your total savings whenever it changes.
- The 10-step milestone checklist - set each step’s status and attach your own notes.
The free plan is genuinely useful on its own - if all you want is to see the whole climb and track your total, you never have to pay.
What a pass unlocks
- Editing your plan - change your target price, deposit percentage, grants estimate, buy date, and state as life changes.
- The savings log - individual deposits and withdrawals with sources and dates, backdating, and deleting entries. See Tracking your savings.
- Partner sharing (1-year passes and longer) - invite your partner to one shared roadmap. See Partner sharing. Your linked partner gets the paid features on the shared roadmap too - one pass covers you both.
- Notification preferences - control in-app nudges.
The 30-day free trial
Every account gets one 30-day trial that unlocks everything above except partner sharing - no card, nothing to cancel. Start it from the pricing page whenever you run into something locked. When the 30 days are up your account returns to the free plan with all your data intact.
Common questions
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once for the length you choose. A pass never auto-renews and we never store your card.
What happens when my pass ends?
Your account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted - your roadmap, savings history, and milestone progress stay visible, and you can keep updating your total savings. Buy another pass any time to pick up where you left off.
Can I extend early?
Yes. Buying a new pass while one is still active adds the new time on top of your current expiry, so you never lose days you paid for.
Do we both need to pay?
No. On a 1-year pass or longer, one account can invite a partner, and the partner shares the paid features on that roadmap.
How do I buy a pass?
Use any Unlock button in the app, or the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe - we never see or store your card details.
