Partner sharing
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Saving for a home is a two-person job, so Kaasa is built around one shared roadmap. One of you owns the roadmap; the other joins it by invitation. Partner sharing is included with 1-year passes and longer (see Free vs paid).
Inviting your partner
- Go to Settings and enter your partner’s email address to create an invite link.
- Copy the link and send it yourself - by text, email, or however you like. For security, the full link is shown only once, at the moment you create it.
- The link expires after 7 days. You can always generate a new one - creating a fresh invite replaces the old link.
- Your partner must sign in (or register) with the exact email address you invited before accepting. A different address won’t work.
What your partner can do
Once linked, your partner works on the same roadmap as you: they see the same dashboard, can log savings entries, update milestones, and edit the plan. Their contributions and yours land in one shared picture - that’s the point.
Each account keeps its own login and password. Sharing a roadmap never means sharing an account.
One partner each way
A roadmap can have one partner, and a person can be linked to one shared roadmap. If your partner already shares someone else’s roadmap, they’ll need to leave it before accepting your invite.
Ending sharing
- As the owner - revoke access at any time in Settings. It takes effect immediately, and also cancels any pending invite.
- As the partner - you can leave the shared roadmap yourself at any time.
Ending sharing doesn’t delete anything: the roadmap, its savings log, and milestones stay with the owner, including entries the partner added while linked.
Troubleshooting
- “Invite link is invalid or has expired” - the link is older than 7 days or has been replaced by a newer one. Ask for a fresh invite.
- “This invite was sent to a different email address” - sign out and sign back in with the invited address, or ask the owner to re-invite the address you use.
- “This roadmap already has a partner” - the owner must revoke the existing link in Settings before a new partner can join.
