Savings timeline calculator
How long until you reach your deposit goal? Enter what you’re aiming for, what you’ve saved, and your monthly pace to see the month you’ll get there.
How the calculation works
Your remaining gap is your goal minus what you’ve saved. Divide it by your monthly savings and you get the months left, rounded up to whole months. The pace table shows how much sooner an extra $250 or $500 a month gets you there - small increases compound into months saved.
What it doesn’t include
The calculator assumes a steady pace and doesn’t model interest on your savings or price growth in your target suburb. Both matter over multi-year timelines: interest works for you, price growth against you. Treat the result as your baseline, not a promise.
Track it instead of recalculating it
Savings rarely move in a straight line. Start a free Kaasa roadmap and your timeline updates automatically every time you log your savings - along with the monthly pace you need to hit your target buy date.
