Kaasa, the roadmap for Australian home buyers

The climb to your new home, mapped.

Kaasa is your home-buying roadmap - track your deposit, watch your progress grow, and tick off the milestones between your savings account and settlement day. Built around the real Australian buyer journey - grants, stamp duty, pre-approval, the lot.

From payday to settlement day - see your true deposit power.

A progress ring, not a spreadsheet. Your deposit percentage front and centre - the payday dopamine hit that keeps the savings streak alive.

The gap, in plain numbers. How much is left, what your monthly pace covers, and when you land at your goal if you keep it up.

General info, never advice. We explain each step without legalese and never push your data anywhere.

The grants, schemes and maths, decoded.

No more mental math. See your true deposit - savings and grants, one number. Your roadmap walks you through every grant, scheme and threshold at the right moment.

First Home Guarantee (FHBG)

Eligible first home buyers can purchase with as little as a 5% deposit while the government guarantees the rest of the usual 20%, so there is no lenders mortgage insurance to pay. Your roadmap's eligibility milestone prompts you to check the current criteria before the house hunt begins.

First Home Super Saver (FHSS)

The FHSS scheme lets you make voluntary super contributions and later withdraw them, plus deemed earnings, for your first home deposit. Because super is taxed at concessional rates, many savers reach their deposit goal faster than in a regular savings account.

Stamp duty concessions by state

Every state and territory treats first home buyers differently: full stamp duty exemptions under certain price caps, concessions above them, and separate rules for new builds versus established homes. Milestone nine is dedicated to claiming the grants and concessions your state actually offers.

Deposit maths and LMI

Below a 20% deposit, lenders usually charge lenders mortgage insurance, which can add thousands of dollars. Kaasa shows your deposit percentage against your target price in real time, so you always know how far you are from 5%, 10%, or the LMI-free 20%.

This is general information only. Always confirm current thresholds and eligibility on the official scheme pages or with your lender. The Help Centre explains exactly how the numbers on your roadmap are calculated.

Your home, your rules, your roadmap.

Buying solo or saving together - visa holders included. Kaasa keeps notes on every milestone and keeps you across the grants and stamp duty concessions your state actually offers. And if there are two of you, you can share the same roadmap.
